My Brother!

Hello Doc. I just wanted to say that I couldn't be prouder of the fact that you are my doctor as well as my friend! God bless you and yours for your efforts for GOD in that horrendous situation. HE will bless you for this, I am sure.

Our church raised over $5000.00 for relief efforts, there. I have a missionary in my church who has brought out over 30 kids from Haiti, over the years. He has a real heart for the place and is hoping to go back down ASAP...he is waiting for transportation, at this time.

Again....may our wonderful God bless you and yours for your loving work for HIM!

Love ya, brother!

your Friend,
Pastor Darren Tharp

Dr. Edmonson,

Right now I pray for energy, safety and health for you and your team as you serve at this moment.

Thank you for blogging your experience. It is a constant reminder of the human experience in a world where the realism can be lost through global media.

John 13:
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

THANK YOU for being such a great encourager and example.
