The Most Valuable Thing

Here are a few pics from launch night. As it usually goes, pictures don't do justice to how things looked and felt.

The most valuable thing in the room was not the multimillion dollar jet backdrop. It was my granddaughter, Sophie, apple of Grandpa's eye. What a night!

No, the picture doesn't do it justice. I was just in awe of the whole thing. I expected a cold hangar with a greasy cement floor. Boy, was I shocked. You could literaly see yourself in the amazingly shiny floor. I spoke to two different gentlemen about how amazingly clean everything was. Including the jet. I spoke to them separately and they both said the exact same thing. "Well, we do sell soap." If their soap works that good, I should buy a truckload. That's the closest I've ever been to a plane. And that one was amazing. The whole night was amazing. I, too, wish Steve could have, and would have, spoken longer. And, all the kind words everyone had, was just the tip of the iceberg. I've never met a kinder, more brilliant, and funny man in my life. It is an absolute honor and pleasure to call him my friend.
