Steve, Thanks so much for the work you have and are doing in Haiti. I don't know you personally but do know some of your fellow team members (Steve Foley, Jim Blackburn). I shared your story and vision with our church board last night and we are joining your tarp effort. Keep up the good work! Pastor Jim Weinmann Evanston Wesleyan Church, Indianapolis, IN
$3 will allow us to plant a banana tree that, within a year-and-a-half will produce a #100 pound banana bunch AND will reproduce, producing shoots that can be separated from the mother plant and planted elsewhere. $5 will allow us to plant a mango or avocado tree
$100 will place a biosand water filter in a family's home, providing enough safe, good tasting water for up to ten people. Thes filters remove all bacteria and parasites from bad water, making it safe to drink. These basic and durable filters last 10 years with very little maintenance.
$5 will place a Creole-language preschool level reader in the hands of a young Haitian child.
$20 will provide materials to build a latrine for a Haitian family

I'm smiling as I trying to imagine who was the person responsible for the 01.00 in the $3601.00?
Gifts, big and small, combined to make a difference for a few thousand starfysh on the side of that hill.
